Beautiful Ludlow

If you visit only one village in England you should make it Ludlow! This is just a wonderful place steeped in history. The castle was orginally established by the Normans in the 1080's to guard agains Welsh raiders. Ludlow had an unusal feature for English castles in that the village was already established before the castle was built. Here are some shots of the village and yes that is a road, the double yellow lines means no parking. Did you notice the size of the side walk!
