Trip to Hampton Court Palace

Sat. we took the train from Waterloo Station to Hampton Court Palace, originally built in the early 1500's during te reign of Henry VIII. We met two wonderful people, Vel & Paul Addison for lunch at a pub by the river. Vel is a former Southern Californian. Vel gave me great advice about driving in England-keep the white line on your left and yield to the right at "round abouts." The latter appear to be an English invention to eleminate the need for trafic lights, stop signs, and calm nerves at intersections.
